ORIGINAL VANITY FAIR LITHOGRAPHS

These first prints for sale are all original Vanity Fair cariacature prints from the 19th century. Each one depicts someone famous at the time. Vanity Fair prints are highly popular and actively collected. (Note: there are other 19th century prints after the Vanity Fair listings)

A NOTE ABOUT OUR SCANS:

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THESE SCANS: Vanity Fair prints are too big to fit completely on a standard scanner, so the outer edges are usually missing in what you see here. Generally we are missing the view of the bottom of the print and some of the sides. Rest assured they are all complete and in excellent condition.

MEN OF THE DAY, NO. 42, “The Beggar’s friend.” Feb. 26, 1870. The Marquess Townshend. Size 9" x 14". Excellent condition. $30

Statesmen No. 26. July 31, 1869. Lord Cairns. “When Birth cannot lead Brains must.” (Artist: Ape). Size 9" x 14". Excellent condition. $30
